Week commencing 14th December - Westmeston

Our final week of term has been full of festive fun. On Tuesday we visited Westmeston Church to see their nativity scene and enormous Christmas tree. Our friend Gary had hidden pictures of the nativity scene around the church for the children to find. He then told them the Christmas story as the children placed their pictures to make a stable scene. The children also had the opportunity to ring the church bells

Throughout the week, we've had plenty of fun. We celebrated a birthday, ate homemade Christmas cookies and had a lovely time playing outside.

All week we have been busy completing our Christmas crafts which the children took home on Friday. We hope you enjoy looking through their creations.

We had a wonderful Christmas party on Friday. The children enjoyed making bags of reindeer food to sprinkle on Christmas Eve,. They also painted salt dough decorations and made paper crowns.

We ended with some energetic games and party food.

Finally, we'd like to share some Christmas songs with you. We would have loved you all to come and see the children perform, but we hope you enjoy these songs and here's hoping we can return to our normal Christmas show next year.

This final song was recorded during our Christmas party! We hope you enjoy the enthusiasm, excitement and volume!!

We'd like to thank everyone for their kind Christmas wishes, cards and gifts - they are greatly appreciated. We hope you all have a happy, healthy Christmas and we look forward to seeing you all in 2021!
