Week commencing 1st July 2024 - Acorns 25

Hello and welcome to our blog post.

We hope you enjoy reading about our week.

We have had a great week at The Acorns.

We have spent lots of time in the garden, enjoying the sunshine and dodging the showers.

We have enjoyed many sports activities - races and obstacle courses which involved crawling, climbing, balancing, running, scooting, pushing & pulling things and filling cups with water.

We had such an amazing time!

We cheered for our friends and celebrated our achievements with stickers.

We decorated our picnic bags and got to make our own sandwiches for our annual Acorns Family Picnic.

Sadly the weather wasn’t on our side but we didn’t let it dampen our spirits as we headed off to the green to have some fun.

Luckily one of our amazing families brought along two gazebos so we could shelter from the rain.

Thank you !!

We blew bubbles, chatted and played, some children visited the park and others enjoyed the space on the green to run around and explore.

Thank you to everyone for coming along.

It was so special for both of our settings to be together.
